How waterproof is it?
With the top rolled down at least three times and clipped, the bag keeps out heavy rain, snow, splashes and spray, and it handles a quick dunk or a stream crossing. It is not designed to be left underwater for long periods.

Can I use it as an everyday backpack?
Yes. The padded straps and ventilated back panel make it comfortable for a full day, on the trail or on the way to work.
